Welcome to the web site of the Atherton Tableland LETS group. The Atherton Tablelands are located in Far North Queensland — approx. 80 km west of Cairns.
LETS is a system of trading goods and services without cash. It creates local employment by making use of the community's true wealth — the skills and energy of its people.
Tableland LETS uses its own local currency, the Bartle. See "About LETS" for more information about the Bartle.
The current coordinator of the Tableland LETS group is Belinda Moore. See "Contact Us" for contact details.
Regular trade and social events happen monthly in Atherton, Tarzali and Ravenshoe. See "Events and Meetings" for more information.
Tableland LETS is a member of CES, an international network of LETS groups and community exchanges. You can find us there at Tableland LETS (TBCE). Members log in here.
Special Announcement: AGM is coming up - it's an important time for Tableland LETS, come and have your say on our future direction. See "Events and Meetings" for more information.
